Zapworld.Com (Sebastopol, CA) recently announced it now offers solar panels in three different sizes that plug directly into its electric bikes and scooters for free, non-polluting electricity.According to the company, the panels use a proprietary photovoltaic technology that does not use any glass or rigid framing, making them lightweight and flexible. They come in sizes of 5W, 10W and 32W.Zap also sells conventional solar panels up to 75W and a stationary charging station specifically designed to charge several bikes and scooters at once. The company also recently donated a solar charging station to its hometown of Sebastopol, CA so that its customers have a place to lock up their Zaps and get a free charge.The solar panels' retail prices are $99 for the 5W, $299 for the 32W, $499 for the 75W and $1,399 for the charging station.
