Cherokee International Introduces New CMP150 Power Supply
Cherokee International LLC (Tustin, CA) has announced the introduction of its 3U CompactPCI, 150W Quad power supply. According to Cherokee, the CMP150 operates from 85Vac to 264Vac input and delivers 150W of continuous output power at an efficiency of 70 percent. Maximum continuous output power ratings for the CMP150 model are +3.3V/33A, 5.0V/20A, +12V/8A and -12V/1.5A.
The power supply is a fully enclosed hot-pluggable ac/dc power supply requiring no external filtering or heat sinking. Standard features include internal O-ring diodes on all output, supply-fail and output power derating signals, remote enable, remote sense (V1 & V2), over-temperature protection, and over-voltage protection. The high-current 3.3V and 5.0V outputs have single-wire current sharing. The power supply's size is 3O x 8HP x 160mm and weighs approximately 2 pounds.
The power supply meets safety agency recognition and compliance to UL1950, CSA22.2 and TUV EN60950. Pricing starts under $150 in OEM quantities.
