UNIPOWER Telecom Intros DPB2U Circuit Breaker Panels
UNIPOWER Telecom, a division of UNIPOWER Corp. (Coral Springs, FL), introduced its new DPB2U circuit breaker panels that provide distribution and overload protection for up to 19 dc circuits in telecom applications utilizing a minimal amount of rack space. The panels distribute up to a total of 300 A of load current from a single source. The distribution panel can be configured for 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc or 48 Vdc telecom systems with either positive or negative ground.
The magnetic circuit breakers can be chosen with capacities from 1 A to 100 A. The breakers are field changeable. An optional circuit breaker alarm has a dual-color LED (green/red) and Form C relay contacts. The DPB2U distribution panels can be ordered for mounting in either a 19 in or 23 in rack system. They are flush mounted and provide for easy connection of the loads.
The DPB2U dc distribution panels are available from stock for immediate delivery and start at $265 for the base panel. Breaker capacity and quantity are specified by the customer and are added to the base price.
