Ultralife Reports Dismissal of Acquisition Suit

Ultralife Batteries Inc. (Newark, NY) recently announced the dismissal of a civil action that had claimed Ultralife interfered with plaintiff's opportunity to purchase Dowty Battery Division of TI Group PLC, now Ultralife Batteries' UK subsidiary. According to the company, a jury trial was conducted after which the jury returned a verdict in favor of Ultralife Batteries, thereby dismissing the complaint."We felt certain that the claim was without merit and we were committed to a vigorous defense," said John D. Kavazanjian, Ultralife president and CEO. "We are very pleased that the jury agreed with us."
