SolarTAC Announces New Participation Programs

June 30, 2013 by Jeff Shepard

The Solar Technology Acceleration Center (SolarTAC) announces new incubator/showcase and sponsorship programs. Offered for the first time, SolarTAC incubator and showcase memberships allow start-ups to initialize products on a smaller scale, at less cost. Affordable two-year packages are based on the product's entry into the U.S. marketplace. Commercial Sponsorships are now available for companies in the solar marketplace. This program allows companies to advertise and participate directly with members and guests at minimal cost.

SolarTAC's current members include Xcel Energy, Abengoa Solar, SunEdison, Amonix, the Alliance for Sustainable Energy (National Renewable Energy Laboratory), the Electric Power Research Institute, and Hittite Solar Energy.

Managed and operated by MRIGlobal, SolarTAC is an integrated, world-class test facility where members can research, test, validate, and demonstrate at scale, solar technologies under actual field conditions. SolarTAC is the largest demonstration center for solar technologies in the United States (74-acres). SolarTAC is a private, member-based facility providing a cost-shared, centralized U.S. location for the solar industry to rapidly deploy large scale systems, research and develop programs.
