Cooper Electronic Technologies (Boynton Beach, FL) announced that it has updated its Aerogel Capacitor Calculator located on the company's website.
The updated calculator includes the addition of dc versus ac pulse discharge correction factors, and temperature and tolerance correction factors. In addition, the list of supercapacitors referenced in the pull-down menu has been extensively updated. The refinements to this calculator program allow design engineers to quickly determine capacitor requirements and confirm that time requirements are met for power hold-up applications and/or voltage drop acceptability for pulse applications.
