Ault Announces Agreement with MagneTek

Ault Inc. (Minneapolis) announced the signing of an agreement with MagneTek Inc. (Nashville, TN) to private-label its new high-efficiency dc/dc converters. Under the terms of this agreement, Ault will have a worldwide license to market MagneTek's high-efficiency dc/dc converters.

"We expect that this agreement will have a very positive impact on our operations and results going forward, making a material contribution to sales and margins over the next 24 months," stated Fred Green, Ault's president and CEO. "We have great synergy with MagneTek and we are extremely well positioned to market this new line of dc/dc converters. Our shared goal is to increase market share with leading OEMs in North America and throughout the world."

Under the agreement, Ault will private-label MagneTek's quarter-brick and half-brick high-efficiency dc/dc converter products. The units are available in 48V input, with output choices of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5.0V. The quarter bricks and half bricks are available in single or dual outputs. In single outputs, the quarter bricks range from 23W to 100W of power, while the single-output half bricks range from 54W to 200W.
