May 23, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Micromech (UK) recently debuted the new H and L Series of DIN rail stepper drive indexers, featuring integral CANbus interface with over 50 protocols. The drives are configurable in simple multi-axis docking stations that mechanically and electrically interlock. The drives come in 75V and 170V versions, with up to 1HP of shaft power available. There is also an option for DOL 240V PSU on the L Series. All models are UL recognized under file E194158.

Micromech’s new drives in the H and L Series incorporate Electromechanical Automation System Intelligence (EASI) programming language. This language features pre-defined profiles and labeled program blocks, as well as accurate registration performance, federate override, jog facility and 24V I/O.
