JARO Presents New ACHM Series Capacitors

September 25, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

JARO Components Inc. (Boca Raton, FL) announced the release of a new low-impedance electrolytic capacitor that is claimed to run with 40 to 60 percent less impedance than most other leading-brand capacitors. The ACHM Series is suitable for automotive and medical companies that manufacture high-reliability equipment, power supplies and peripheral equipment.

The non-vibrating, low-ESR capacitors can withstand a drop test of up to 1.2m. The shock-proof parts are suitable for rigorous and moving environments in conditions 30 times the force of gravity (30Gs). The new capacitor comes with a value of 330µF at 100V in a surface-mount package size of 16in x 16.5in.

Pricing for the ACHM108M50TJV is $0.63 each at 10,000 pieces, with a lead time of 8 to 10 weeks ARO.
