Industrial Devices Intros IDeal Systems, Motion Control Systems

February 20, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Industrial Devices Corp. (IDC, Petaluma, CA) has introduced a series of complete, pre-tested and fully-assembled motion control systems, the IDeal Systems. IDeal Systems consist of one or more IDC mechanical positioning devices, an IDC motor, and IDC drive or SmartDrive on each axis, and optional accessories such as a keypad or limit switch.

With an IDeal System, all system components are pre-wired and labeled. Drives or SmartDrives are pre-configured for each positioning device, and the system is tested to ensure proper functionality. IDC claims that their new IDeal Systems allow users to significantly shorten implementation time, by up to five hours.

IDeal Systems options include custom cable lengths and preloaded customer motion control programs.
