Celeritek Intros CHP0205-QM Power Amplifier Module

Celeritek Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) announced its new 4mm² linear power amplifier module (PAM) designed for transmit functions in CDMA2K 1X cellular, multi-mode, data-enabled and handset applications. The amplifier is a member of Celeritek's new QuadAmp family of 3V PAMs.

The CHP0205-QM model is produced using Celeritek's InGAP HBT technology, designed with simplified construction of a two-sided, single-layer laminate. The amplifier operates from 824MHz to 849MHz and offers 36 percent linear-power-added efficiency, +28dBm of output power, a lower RF power efficiency enhancement, 50 ohms of internal matching and an onboard dc power-down mode. The device is packaged in a 4mm x 4mm x 1.5mm power module.
