Zeitgeist Electronics Debuts 0603/0805/1206 Thermistors

Shenzhen Zeitgeist Electronics Co. Ltd. (China) announced the 0603, 0805 and 1206 Series of NTC thermistors, which feature high solderability and high resistance to soldering heat, making them suitable for high-density SMT installation and wave or reflow soldering. They are designed for use as temperature sensors in rechargeable batteries and CPUs, as well as for temperature compensation of transistors, ICs, LCDs and crystal oscillators in mobile communications equipment.

The 0603 devices have a rated power of 10mW, while the 0805 models are rated at 15mW. The 1206 Series thermistors offer a rating of 20mW. The thermistors have a resistance ranging from 0.22 to 220 kiloohms at tolerances of ±1, ±2, ±3, ±5 or ±10 percent. All models have an operating temperature range of -40 to +125 degrees C.
