Zapworld.Com Announces Distribution of New E-Kart Electric Go-Cart

March 23, 2000 by Jeff Shepard

Zapworld.Com (ZAP, Sebastopol, CA) announced that it will be distributing a new electric go-kart, the E-Kart. According to ZAP, electric go-karts work well for indoor sports because they do not create any emissions or noise. ZAP's E-Karts are also specifically designed for children because they incorporate more safety features and are quieter for use in residential areas. ZAP claims that parents will feel more comfortable with the battery-powered go-karts because they are easier to start, do not use fuel and include a speed control limiting the top-speed to 28mph.

The E-Kart is currently available in both one- and two-seat versions. Prices range from $1,599 for the single-seat version to $1,749 for the double.
