September 09, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Yangzou Datong Electron Equipment Fty (Jiangsu, China) unveiled its DTA Series of Hall-effect sensors, which respond within 7µs and are used to directly measure ac, dc and pulse currents in telecom power supplies and rectifiers.

The devices operate from a 24Vdc to 30Vdc single supply or 12Vdc to 15Vdc double supply, and outputs 4V with ±1 percent tolerance. The devices are available with current ratings of 50A, 100A, 200A, 300A, 400A, 500A or 600A; can withstand up to 2.5kV; and are rated for operation over the 10 to 70 degrees C or -40 to +85 degrees C temperature range.
