Würth Elektronik eiSos at PCIM 2019

April 04, 2019 by Scott McMahan

Würth Elektronik eiSos is exhibiting at PCIM Europe 2019, May 7-9 taking place the Nuremberg Convention Center. The company will showoff its products and technology at Hall 7, booth 229.

The trade show presentation's focus is on high-power terminals, high-current inductors, and SMT-mountable double inductors. The company is also taking part in the congress program.

With WE-HCF and WE-HCFT, high-current inductors that have a current loading capacity of up to 75A are in the limelight. Examples of products from the field of ferrites are WE-CBF, suitable as a data line filter and for supply voltage decoupling, and WE-MPSB, provides a storage inductance for highly efficient dc-dc converters and high-current switching power supplies. Over-voltage protection is addressed with WE-VD, a disk varistor that immediately continues to operate after an over-voltage pulse without sequential current.

Double inductors in molding technology

The WE-MCRI and WE-CFWI coupled inductors exemplify the benefits of material selection and processing. For instance, the core material, bonding or the use of flat wire. The same applies to the WE-CMBNC current-compensated line choke with its highly permeable nanocrystalline core material.

The robust component for the temperature range from -40 to +125°C is well suited for motor interference suppression.

Würth Elektronik eiSos is involved in the congress program. The topic "Combined Solutions for Thermal Management and Electromagnetic Shielding" will be addressed at a poster presentation (in the foyer of the ‘NCC Mitte' hall) on May 7, 2019, between 3:15 and 5:15 p.m.

Sebastian Mirasol-Menacho, Antonio Alcarria and Jorge Victoria from Würth Elektronik eiSos will lead the presentation. Others taking part in the presentation include Adrian Suarez, Pedro A. Martinez, Jose Torres, Julio Martos, Raimundo Olcina, and Jesus Soret (all from ETSE University Valencia).

On May 9, 2019, Markus Stark, Head of Product Technology and Strategy Passive General Management, will discuss, "Near Field Radiation - Causes, Effects & Suppression - Techniques of Power Inductors in Power Electronic Systems" (Hall 6, Booth 322) from 12.00 noon to 12.20 p.m.

New products showcased at Booth 229

The company also invites any PCIM attendees looking for connection technology to also stop by the Würth Elektronik eiSos booth. At the booth, the company will present its new products in the board-to-board and wire-to-board sector as well as high-power terminals, and coaxial connectors.

In a unique and eye-catching demonstration of Würth Elektronik eiSos electronic and electromechanical manufacturer's components, the company is showing off a greenhouse with horticultural LEDs whose light spectra are optimized for the needs of plants.
