Westcor Introduces the PFC MegaPAC-XF Switching Power Supply

Westcor (Sunnyvale, CA), a division of Vicor, introduces the PFC MegaPAC-XF, which they term the High-Power MegaPAC, for high-power applications. This field-configurable, switching power supply combines PFC ac input with one to four outputs and a maximum of 2,400W of output power. Second-generation Vicor converters, the foundation of the new MegaPac-XF, are designed to provide increased power and performance in a more compact form.

The MegaPAC-XF measures 12.2" x 6" x 3.4" and provides a high-power density of over 10W per cubic inch. Typical applications of the 2.4kW PFC MegaPAC-XF include automatic test equipment, industrial, EDP and telecommunications. Current sharing is available for larger power applications.
