Wannbao Unveils MPH Series Capacitors

October 09, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Wannbao Capacitor Fty. (China) announced its new MPH Series metallized polypropylene capacitors designed for employment in monitors, lighting equipment and audio systems, which feature non-inductive winding, epoxy resin coating, metallized polypropylene dielectric/electrode and copper leads.

The capacitors withstand HF operation up to 100MHz and high currents. The devices also offer high electrical performance, low dissipation factor, high stability and long life expectancy.

The operating temperature ranges from -40 to 85 degrees C. They operate at 100Vdc, 250Vdc, 400Vdc and 630Vdc. They also exhibit capacitance values ranging from 1nF to 10µF, with capacitance tolerances of ±5 percent, ±10 percent or ±20 percent. At 25 degrees C, the 1kHz, maximum dissipation factor is 0.05 percent. Insulation resistance is rated at 50 gigaohms (minimum) at a maximum capacitance of 0.33µF, or 20 gigaohms if capacitance is greater than 1µF.
