Valence Technology Receives Order for Model 25C Lithium-Polymer Batteries

Valence Technology Inc. (Henderson, NV) has received a small initial purchase order for its advanced rechargeable lithium-polymer batteries. Valence Model 25C will go into a special wireless data transmission device now being designed for high data rate mobile Internet connectivity.

The Model 25C is a slimmed-down version of the battery that Valence is currently providing to the same OEM customer for use in cellular and satellite telephone handsets. The battery measures less than 6mm and contains approximately 4Wh of energy in a form factor of 25 x 110 x 5.7mm.

Valence currently has more than 400 battery patents awarded and pending.
