Up to 1000μH Surface Mount Inductors for High Power Density Industrial Applications
TT Electronics announced the HM79M family of power inductors, surface mount power inductors with a ferrite core for industrial applications such as automation systems, dc-dc converters, and EMI filters. The inductors come in a wide range with inductances between 0.47μH and 1000μH.
The HM79M series are low-cost, medium power surface mount power inductors that offer low dc resistance and high saturation current. They have an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The 0.47μH variant has the lowest maximum DCR of 0.0071mΩ and has the highest saturation current of 9.5A maximum.
Available in a wide range of inductances and package sizes, these inductors are suitable for high-efficiency dc-dc converters using high switching frequencies to 3Mhz as well as EMI and low pass dc filters.
