Ultralife Batteries Awarded Five-Year Order from UK Ministry of Defense

Ultralife Batteries Inc. (Newark, NY) announced that it was awarded a five-year production order valued at over $4.5 million from the UK Ministry of Defense. The order of customized lithium batteries commenced July 2001, and will continue until June 2006.

"The UK Ministry of Defense is an important customer for our products and we are extremely pleased that they have chosen to place this level of business with Ultralife," said Colin Newnham, managing director of Ultralife.
