two new models in its SERVOSTAR 600

Kollmorgen (Radford, VA) recently announced the release of two new models in its SERVOSTAR 600 digital amplifier series for 400V and 480V motor control applications. The SERVOSTAR 600 line now has ratings from 3A to 20A with an integrated power supply. Each amplifier accepts 400V or 480V three-phase ac input power, eliminating the need for a transformer. Multi-drop configurations allow a PC or PLC to communicate to the amplifier through a single RS-232 connection and can be configured by the user for various functions including torque, velocity, electronic gearing and point-to-point positioning. SERVOSTAR 600 also meets safety standards for UL and CE. The SERVOSTAR 600 is matched with the Kollmorgen GOLDLINE BH/MH servomotor.
