Tripp Lite Intros SmartPro 5000 TEL 3U UPS System
Tripp Lite (Chicago, IL) introduced the SmartPro 5000 TEL 3U UPS system, the newest addition to its award-winning SmartPro UPS Series. The SmartPro 5000 TEL 3U provides mission-critical equipment with full-featured power protection, including load management, battery backup, automatic voltage regulation, surge suppression and line noise filtering, as well as comprehensive remote-management capabilities.
The SmartPro 5000 TEL 3U UPS features four communication ports (two RS-232 and two USB) to provide shutdown commands and reporting on multiple servers without the need for costly accessories. The SmartPro 5000 TEL 3U offers five ac outlets, including 15A, 20A and 30A receptacles to ensure maximum connection flexibility and control. Two customized load-management receptacles are included and work with PowerAlert Software to provide remote reboot of network devices or preservation of battery runtime by shutting down nonessential devices during a power failure. A built-in accessory slot accepts an optional SNMP/Web Card for remote management.
An input voltage of 208V/240V and a full power output of both 208V and 120V accommodates a variety of servers, networking and telecom equipment. The UPS packs 5,000VA of battery backup into a single 3U rack cabinet, suitable for telecom rack-mount equipment. Front-panel LEDs alert users to a variety of separate performance conditions, including battery charge, ac line voltage, automatic voltage regulation, UPS load, replace battery and line fault. A pair of circuit breakers safeguard connected equipment and the UPS from damage due to input/output short circuits.
