Transtek Introduces SMD Inductor

September 25, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Transtek Magnetics Inc. (Tucson, AZ) announced the introduction of its 330µH SMD surface-mount inductors.

Designed for use in dc/dc converters and for dc/dc conversion circuits in notebooks, VTR cameras, peripherals and LCDs, the new low-profile inductors feature a standout current rating in a low-profile package, as well as high energy storage and low resistance.

The new inductor is available in a black conductive polystyrene alloy with a thickness of 0.400±0.02mm and a 10-sprocket hole pitch cumulative tolerance of ±0.20. All dimensions meet EIA-481-2 requirements.
