Torex Semi Releases Small Class 0603 Schottky Barrier Diodes

Torex Semiconductor Ltd. has developed what it describes as the world’s smallest class 0603 size ultra-small schottky barrier diodes. Targeting the portable device market, the XBS013V1DR-G and XBS013R1DR-G are ultra-small USP-2B01 (0.6 x 0.3 x h0.3mm) Schottky barrier diodes.

The ultra-small package contributes to a reduction in mounting area and space saving. Applications include low-power circuits in portable devices. The XBS013R1DR-G has minimal reverse leakage current (0.3µA @VR=10V), making it well suited for input protection on various types of amplifiers. Both series achieve a low VF (XBS013V1DR-G: VF=0.37V@IF=10mA, XBS013R1DR-G: VF=0.46V@IF=10mA), support high-density mounting, and contribute to energy saving.

Torex Schottky barrier diodes also comply with the RoHS directive of the EU and are Pb free, for reduced environmental impact.
