Thurlby Thandar Instruments Offers New Xantrex XDC Range of DC Power Supplies

Thurlby Thandar Instruments (UK) announced the new Xantrex XDC range of programmable dc power supplies, which offer output ratings of up to 6kW.

The XDC units use newly developed digital technology to provide output regulation and a high level of user control through front panel, remote analog and remote digital interfaces. The professional specification allows use in component burn-in, magnet control and other high-power applications for a broad range of test and measurement uses.

Up to 10 different 99-step auto sequences are available for automated test applications.

Other features include automatic crossover into constant voltage or constant current mode to respond to varying load requirements.

Additional control of outputs can be achieved using a user-set power limit. The units measure 133mm x 483mm x 579mm, including terminals and handles.
