Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO, Japan) announced that it has provisionally agreed with Tomen Corp. (Japan) to take a 50-percent stake in the trading company's wind power unit for about 10 billion yen ($82.55 million). A final agreement is due to be signed in August 2002.
