Telemetrics Presents New PT-HP-S2 Servo Motor

Telemetrics Inc. (Mahwah, NJ) announced its new PT-HP-S2 servo motor, which is designed specifically for ENG and CCD cameras with digital drive lenses. The servo motor can be controlled via RS-232 or RS-422 protocol while interface connectors are provided for camera and lens-control functions. Serial control interfaces are offered for most Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi and JVC cameras. The device can also supply power to the equipment via a power connector.

The PT-HP-S2 is available with either top-or side-mounting platforms, incorporates heavy-duty cross roller bearings and Swiss dc motors with optical encoders, and provides a serial port for software upgrades via Flash-based technology. Both electronic and mechanical end stops are provided.
