TDK Corp. (Japan) presented its MLK0603 Series of multi-layer chip inductors, which are 80 percent smaller than the company's previous MLK1005 Series, and that are suitable for use in high-frequency, mobile communications devices.
The MLK0603 Series features a monolithic structure and has the same Q characteristic as the MLK1005. The inductor is lead-free, allows leadless soldering and is available with inductance values from 1nH to 22nH.
