Strategic Research Institute to Host Distributed Generation Conference

Strategic Research Institute (New York, NY) will host an energy conference entitled Innovation and Transformation through Distributed Generation in Boston on June 8-9, 2000. The latest developments of photovoltaic, microturbine, fuel cell and solar technology will be discussed. Needs of residential, commercial and industrial energy consumers will be discussed. The keynote address will be presented by Skip Ruch and Tom Barker, from Turbomachinery International Publications.

Distributed generation provides a multitude of cost-saving services to utilities and consumers, including standby generation, peak shaving capability, baseload generation or cogeneration.

The program will feature case studies and presentations addressing consumer needs.
