Southern States Power Co. Inc. (SSPC), a member of the National Biodiesel Board, announced that it has entered into a one-year product re-seller agreement with Shell Solar Industries LLP (Camarillo, CA), a part of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of companies and a worldwide provider of solar equipment.
Under terms of the agreement, SSPC was appointed as a re-seller for the promotion and sale of Shell Solar's photovoltaic products for a period of one year in Riverside, San Bernardino and Inyo Counties in southern California, as well as for sovereign Indian Nations across the US.
The re-seller agreement will allow SSPC to facilitate the marketing of Shell Solar equipment in its planned solar energy projects. Within 60 days of its July 18, 2004, expiration, the parties may choose to renew the agreement for an additional subsequent period.
