South China Sea Intros PT214 Pressure Transducer

October 14, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Guangzhou South China Sea Transducer Fty (Guangzhou, China) announced its new PT214 pressure transducer, which measures pressures ranging from 0.2MPa to 250MPa with a stability of ±0.25 percent FS. The device also exhibits a repeatability of ±0.5 percent FS or ±0.1 percent FS, and a nonlinear hysteresis of ±0.1 percent FS or ±0.2 percent FS.

The 40(ø)mm x 100mm device features a fully stainless construction and requires an excitation voltage between 6Vdc to 12Vdc to produce an output of 1.5mV. The PT214 has an insulation resistance of at least 500 megohms and has 150-percent overload capacity. The transducer is rated for operation over the -20 to +80 degrees C temperature range.
