SolFest 2001 to Be Held August 25-26, 2001

The Real Goods Institute for Solar Living announced that it will celebrate the sun's power with SolFest 2001, its sixth annual weekend solar celebration, to be held August 25-26, 2001, at the Real Goods Solar Living Center in Hopland, CA. The two-day festival is intended to celebrate renewable energy and sustainable living. It will offer speakers and educational workshops on solar energy, electric vehicles and more.

Speakers at SolFest 2001 include Roy McAlister, president of the American Hydrogen Association, who will discuss hydrogen fuel cell technology. Over 40 one-hour workshops will be held on a variety of topics. Admission for the event is $10 per day, if tickets are bought in advance. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate at $15 per day.
