Sola/Hevi-Duty Introduces Online Selector

March 20, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Sola/Hevi-Duty (Skokie, IL) has introduced an online tool to help customers determine the type of transformer they need to fit their applications. The Transformer Product Selector can be found on the Sola/Hevi-Duty website and features a ‘Selector', which will automatically search on the Sola website to find an appropriate match for the requirements of the consumer.

Sola/Hevi-Duty claims that the new Selector is easy to use. A customer simply selects from a pop-up menu of primary and secondary voltage ranges, then enters a KVA power rating or load current. Additional, optional selection criteria include input phase and enclosure type. As soon as the parameters are submitted, the Selector automatically lists the transformer model(s) that matches the customer's requirements. The listing also includes part numbers, primary and secondary voltage numbers, phase type, KVA, enclosure type and actual size. This information is linked back to the appropriate transformer page on the company website for additional product and contact information.
