Socomec UPS (UK) has expanded its Egys range of line-interactive systems to include a rack-mounted version. Suitable for small business servers, advanced workstations and professional equipment with medium power requirements, the unit is available in sizes 800VA to 2kVA.
Socomec claims that the unit uses line-interactive technology and digital control to provide power factor correction of as much as ±25 percent. Two RJ45 jacks provide protection against over-voltages. All units in the Egys UPS Pro range have digital control. Easy Vision software is supplied as standard. The package includes numerous diagnostic functions that record significant happenings in log files. Egys is delivered with everything needed for installation and does not require maintenance.
