20A to 100A Ceramic SMD Fuses Rated to 80Vdc

Bourns reported the introduction of two new families of high-current and ultra-high current SinglFuse™ SMD Fuses to complement its line of SinglFuse™ SMD Fuse products.

The new Model SF-2923HC-C and Model SF-2923UC-C fuse families utilize a robust ceramic cube housing with silicone insulation and a single fuse-termination element, enabling higher inrush current withstand with greater reliability in harsh environments and more effective fusing action when opening.

Both model families are UL 248-14 listed and are intended for use in power applications including lithium-ion battery packs for power tools and electric assist bicycles, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), as well as power distribution units (PDUs), blade servers, and a other applications in which high current, high voltage, and high breaking capacity are required.

Both the SF-2923HC-C and the SF-2923UC-C come in the 2923 size. The SF-2923HC-C is for high current and is rated 20A to 50A with 60Vdc. The SF-2923UC-C is for ultra-high current and is rated for 20A to 100A and 80Vdc. Both Bourns® SinglFuse™ SMD Fuse products are RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and UL listed.
