Shenzhen Introduces New CA42 Tantalum Capacitors

August 22, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Shenzhen Ind. Co. Ltd. (China) introduced the new CA42 Series dipped tantalum capacitors. The CA42 Series provide high performance, long service life, and stable frequency and temperature characteristics, as well as low leakage current and low dissipation factor. These capacitors meet IEC384-15-3 and GB7215-87 standards.

The devices withstand soldering at temperatures up to 230 degrees C (±5 degrees C) for three seconds (±0.5 seconds). The operating temperature ranges from -55 degrees C to +125 degrees C. Capacitance values range from 0.1µF to 330µF, with capacitance tolerance specified at ±10 percent at -55 degrees C, ±15 percent at 85 degrees C, and ±25 percent at 125 degrees C.

Rated voltages are 4Vdc, 6.3Vdc, 10Vdc, 16Vdc, 25Vdc, 35Vdc, 40Vdc and 50Vdc. At 20 degrees C, the dc leakage current is <0.5µA. The dissipation factor ranges from four percent at 20 degrees C to 12 percent at 125 degrees C.

Minimum order is 1,000 pieces.
