Shengye Electrical Debuts CBB30/CBB34 Capacitors

Guangdong Shunde City Shengye Electrical Co. Ltd. (China) introduced the new CBB30 to CBB34 Series of metallized plastic-film capacitors, which are sealed with mylar tape and epoxy resin, and are manufactured with tin-plated axial leads. The capacitors offer high current and voltage resistance, high stability, low dissipation factor, high heat resistance and good self-healing properties, all achieved through employing a metal-spray manufacturing technique.

The high-voltage and current resistance capability of the new capacitors enables them to be employed in switching circuits such as chargers, ac adapters and power supplies. Capacitance values range from 0.1µF to 30µF, with tolerances of ±5 percent or ±10 percent. The devices operate at voltages ranging from 400Vdc to 3kVdc. Dissipation factor is rated to within 0.0008. Peak current is specified at up to 200A at 20kHz to 100kHz. The capacitors also exhibit <10-megohm ESR. Operating at temperatures ranging from -25 to +105 degrees C, the devices last a minimum of 100,000h.
