Reliable Power Meters (Los Gatos, CA), a supplier of power monitoring hardware and software, has expanded its product accessories portfolio to include a 200A, clamp-on, current transformer (CT), suitable for measuring current commonly found in factory and office distribution wiring. The new 200A CT provides a frequency response of up to 10kHz, making it suitable for the measurement of harmonics. The accuracy of the 200A probe is one percent of reading and can accommodate cables up to ¾in in diameter.

Reliable Power Meters offers a full line of clamp-on CTs ranging from 5A to 500A, including flexible and split-core models. When connected to the portable power recorder, the CT's range is automatically sensed, eliminating the need for setup. In addition, the probe has a built-in load to eliminate possible shock hazard if left unconnected.
