Protek Power Releases New 30W Desktop Medical Power Supplies

Designed to cost effectively power today’s medical devices, Protek Power has announced the PMP31 Series of medical desktop power supplies which provide 30W of power in a compact 1.96 x 4.64 x 1.26" package.

The PMP31 Series is approved to UL60601-1, CSA22.2 No. 601.1, and EN60601-1 medical standards and complies with EN55011/FCC/VCCI Class B radiated and conducted EMI standards. With standby power of <0.3W and efficiency at 83.5% minimum, the PMP31 units are in compliance with CEC and Energy Star Efficiency Level IV requirements. The Series is also RoHS compliant.

The PMP31 Series has a 90-264Vac input and offers six single output models ranging from 5Vdc up to 48Vdc. Custom output voltage solutions are also available. Withstand voltage is specified at 1500Vac from input to output and leakage current is specified at 300mA maximum at 264Vac input.

Operating temperature is 0°C to +40°C. No minimum load is required while still maintaining 5% tolerance throughout the full load range. Ripple and noise is specified at 1% peak-to-peak. Comprehensive overvoltage and overcurrent circuitry is employed to protect the end equipment and the power supply.
