PowerCache Achieves UL Recognition for its Small-Cell Ultracapacitors

PowerCache (San Diego, CA), a Maxwell Technologies company, has achieved Underwriters Laboratories (UL) recognition for its line of small-cell ultracapacitors, making it the only line of ultracapacitors on the market that comply with UL's Component Recognition requirements under the Capacitors, Standby Energy Storage Category BBBG2."We are extremely proud and excited that we have attained UL recognition," said Robert Tressler, vice-president of sales and marketing at Maxwell's Electronics' Components Group. "Now in addition to offering our customers the most powerful ultracapacitors available, we can also offer them products backed by the standards and reliability that qualifies them with UL status."All of the small-cell ultracapacitors were thoroughly examined by UL to secure recognition.
