Power Sources Unlimited Intros Cincon POL Converters

Power Sources Unlimited Inc. (Wrentham, MA) announced the new Cincon family of 10 A and 15 A non-isolated, point-of-load (POL) converters in industry-standard, single-in-line (SIP) or surface-mount (SMT) package styles. The SIP10 and SMT10 families offer an input-voltage range of 3.0 Vdc to 5.5 Vdc with fixed outputs of 1.0 Vdc to 3.3 Vdc with a 10 A output rating. A 12 Vdc input (9.0 Vdc to 14 Vdc) version of the product is also available.

The SIP15 and SMT15 versions of the products offer a programmable output voltage, via external resistors, to deliver tightly regulated outputs ranging from 0.9 Vdc to 3.63 Vdc, allowing one device to be used for multiple applications. The products offer efficiencies to 95%, no minimum load requirement, 50 mV peak-to-peak ripple and noise, continuous short-circuit protection, and over-temperature protection. All products in the Series are certified to UL60950.
