Power-One Inc. (Camarillo, CA) has extended its PFC375 Series with the PFC375-4500, a new quad-output power supply. This 375W product features PFC to comply with the European line harmonics standard EN 61000-3-2. Output ratings are as follows: +5V at 50A, +12V at 10A/16Apk, 12V at 6A and 5V at 3A. The last two outputs are isolated.

The compact 2.5" x 5" x 9" package provides for a power density of 3.3W per cubic inch with 300 LFM forced-air cooling. The PFC375-4500 provides full power over a wide input range of 85Vac to 264Vac. Remote on/off, over-voltage protection, thermal shutdown, power fail, and a power-good signal are all standard. Typical efficiency is 70 percent. The user can also specify an optional cooling fan by adding the suffix F to the part number. This option increases the length to 10.5".

Pricing for the PFC375-4500 is $319 in quantities of 250. Samples are available from franchised distributors or on a direct basis.
