Power Integrations Appoints Rafael Torres as Chief Financial Officer
Power Integrations Inc. announced that Rafael Torres has been appointed CFO and VP, Finance and Administration, effective July 19, 2006.
Since 2000, Torres has served as chief financial officer of PLX Technology, Inc., a supplier of PCI Express and other standard input/output interconnect silicon for the communications, server, storage, embedded-control and consumer industries. Prior to joining PLX, he served in financial management roles at OnCommand Corp., a provider of on-demand video services, and at Silicon Valley Group, a semiconductor equipment company. He also served as a senior auditor with PriceWaterhouse LLP, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
