Potrans Debuts UP0404X Series Power Supply

Potrans Electrical Corp. (Irvine, CA) announced its new UP0404X Series of 40W universal power supplies designed for IT peripherals, POS, telecom and networking devices. The UP0404X Series comes in three models with single outputs of 12Vdc at 3A, 15Vdc at 2.4A or 24Vdc at 1.7A, and dimensions of 4.25in x 1.94in x 1.18in.

The UP0404X Series features an efficiency of 80 percent under all specified line conditions and full load, a hold-up time of 16mS at 0 degree low nominal line input and full rated load, a rating of 2A at 250V installed on the input line side near the input connect to provide protection to the power supply, an operating temperature from 0 to 40 degrees C, and over-current protection.

The UP0404X Series meets IEC 61000-4-5, the ±2kV surge-immunity requirement, EN 55022 and FCC Class B, and UL/cUL/GS-TUV/CE. Pricing is under $10 per 5,000 pieces. Production lead-time is from six to eight weeks. Samples are available upon request.
