PolyPhaser Presents New AL-LSXM Series Protectors

PolyPhaser (Minden, NV) introduced its new AL-LSXM Series that offers surge protection with multi-strike capability for broadband wireless, Wi-Fi and WLAN communications systems. The AL-LSXM Series is available with N or TNC connectors, feature a fully weatherized housing, low throughput energy and are dc blocked.

The new devices are designed for a frequency range from 2.0 GHz to 6.0 GHz; feature a low insertion loss of under 0.2 dB, a return loss above 20 dB and RF power of 10 W; and are surge rated to IEC 1000-4-5, 8 µs/20 µs at 10 kA. Surge throughput energy is ≤0.5 µJ (6 kV/3 kA, 8 µs/20 µs) and peak let-through voltage is ±3 V (6 kV/3 kA, 8 µs/20 µs). The AL-LSXM Series are designed for an operating temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C.
