Performance Technologies Debuts PCI384 Telecom Adapter

Performance Technologies Inc. (Rochester, NY) introduced the PCI384 telecom adapter, an advanced communications subsystem that provides wide area networking and telecommunications connectivity for developers of next-generation telecom and IP telephony systems applications.

Performance Technologies' PCI384 is a T1/E1/J1 adapter, suited for both public switched-telephone networks and IP telephony systems handling large amounts of call volume. Applications include SS7 network elements, wireless infrastructure equipment, media and signaling gateways, and telecom switching and routing equipment.

"Systems that offer high performance, ease of integration and a reduced time-to-market are critical in the rollout of next-generation networks," said Ed Bizari, director of marketing for Performance Technologies.

The PCI384 adapter is priced at $3,295 and is now available.
