Payton America Announces New Series of Power Inductors

Payton America Inc. (Boca Raton, FL) announced a new series of SMT planar inductors designed for use in the output filter of low-profile power modules. The inductors measure 20mm x 20mm x 8.2mm and are available up to 40A. They have resistance as low as 0.6mohms. One to eight turns are available for inductances up to 25µH/5A. The operating frequency ranges from 100kHz to 300kHz. The inductors have a short-term overload current of 40A.
Payton’s new power inductors are available for immediate delivery. Prices are in the range of $4.00 in quantities of 1,000.
