ON Semiconductor LLC (Phoenix, AZ) recently announced that its board of directors has elected Steve Hanson to the position of CEO effective immediately. Hanson will continue to serve as president of the company.
"Steve's appointment is a direct result of his vision, leadership and dedication, which enabled the creation of this company," said Curtis Crawford, ON Semiconductor's chairman of the board. "Steve possesses the necessary balance of solid technical skills and an extensive background in the semiconductor business, along with the compassion and leadership skills necessary to lead this company into the future. He will continue to provide the senior leadership in guiding the ON Semiconductor team toward growth by being fast and focused in serving our customers' every need."
