January 20, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Nyden Corp. (San Jose, CA) announced the MNC100 remote driving controller used for point-to-point control of the general purpose motion system. The MNC100 is characterized by its Z80 microprocessor compatibility and manual teach operations. The company's intelligent MPG1020 peripheral, a high-speed pulse-generator chip, is used in the controller to execute smooth motion to the motor drivers.

The MNC100 offers 16 columns by two rows worth of important viewing parameters such as limit values and operating modes to engineers in both North America and the Far East, and offers a means of controlling worldwide stepper motors and drivers operating in typical noisy and highly-industrial applications. At 500 grams, the product measures 101mm x 98mm x 40.6mm.
