NIC Eurotech Unveils New NSPZ Series of Capacitors

August 27, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

NIC Eurotech (UK) introduced the new NSPZ Series of surface-mount, solid-polymer, aluminium electrolytic capacitors.

Components from the new NSPZ range are ideally suited to low-voltage, high-current, power-management applications.

Ultra-low ESR and impedance, coupled with high ripple current, are the key features of the NSPZ Series. Measured values for ESR are as low as 0.025ohm. The NSPZ capacitors are housed in leadless cylindrical packages with dimensions ranging from 6.3mm x 6mm, up to 10mm x 8mm. Capacitance values from 15uF to 680uF, and voltage ratings of between 4Vdc and 25Vdc, mean that the requirements of most applications can be met. A broad operating range of -55 to +105 degrees C further enhances suitability for use in a wide range of electronic circuits and equipment.

Parts are supplied in a tape and reel format appropriate for pick-and-place manufacturing systems.
